Earth Week

Earth Day is observing its 40th anniversary this Thursday, April 22. It is now the 3rd most celebrated holiday in the world. It started as a small grass roots movement, and now has 175 countries taking part. Why not plan a simple celebration of your own at home? Plant a tree or a new flowering shrub. Start a butterfly or hummingbird garden, anything to attract beneficial birds, bees and other insects. Get your children involved and make new gardeners out of them. Stop by our Garden Design Center and let us help you start your Earth Day project. We have compost bins, rain barrels and reusable Earth box deck planters. Together, we can help the earth.
